Chair One Back in 1999 Darryl started his barber training in Columbus, Ohio. He became a Master Barber after attending the American Barber Institute in New York City. Darryl moved to Albuquerque with his wife's job in 2001. He continued his training with classes in perming, colouring, and relaxers at the Albuquerque Barber College. Darryl was named the first American Crew educator from the state of New Mexico in 2003. Darryl opened SNIP on Cinco De Mayo of 2003 & it's been one long party ever since. He's now living in Phoenix and is working in the 2nd SNIP on the planet. Check with the shop to see when he will be in next. |
Chair Two in Albuquerque Meshelle is the manager of the Albuquerque shop. She was one of the shop's first customers. Every time she came into the shop, she'd ask questions about barbering. I told her if she went to school, I would have a job for her. From all reports, Meshelle AMAZED people at the Albuquerque Barber College. She was the first student in over two years to pass an early externship exam. We are fortunate to have her and invite you to jump into chair #2. Meshelle gets credit for hand selecting the Master Barbers assembled as the team at SNIP. She is in on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 7:30am to 6pm, She is off on Thursdays and Saturdays. She will astound you. |
Chair Three in Albuquerque Gary been a Master Barber for longer than some of my barbers have been alive. He started in Detroit and has called Albuquerque home for so long he almost forgets what snow storms are like. Gary joined SNIP in September of 2003. We had previously worked together when I first moved to Albuquerque. In addition to standard barber services, Gary enjoys the creativity of cutting women's hair from time to time. (So ladies, don't be afraid to try a barber shop) Gary is in: Mondays & Tuesdays 12-6, Fridays from 10am to 6pm and Saturdays from 10am to 4pm. His skills are strong. |
Chair Four in Albuquerque Velia is a wonderful team member. Call and schedule an appointment with her for a shave and a haircut. You won't be disappointed. |
