Caught off guard my only reply was, " I dunno but I'm glad I'm on this side of the gene pool." We had a laugh over it but afterwards I could only think of Homer Simpson pontificating, "It's funny because it's true." |
How to Apply Cologne This is something very few of our patrons have a prblem with because you are all well groomed gentleman no doubt. Since cologne is the fastest growing sector of mens' spending in the grooming catagories it deserves to be mentioned. Remember, a scent is meant to be appealing, not appalling. A little really does go a long way. Carson sums up cologne application this way, "Spray, Delay, Walk Away." That is, spray it out in front of you. Pause for a second, then, walk through the mist. This keeps you from being the person in the elevator everyone wishes they could escape from. The days of smelling like you bathed is Drakkar Noir are long behind you. |
Shampoos are all the same right? No. American Crew makes a variety of shampoos for a variety of situations people may have to deal with. For example, their Daily Shampoo is for normal to oily hair. Protecting Yourself from the Sun Sun block should be applied at least 30 minutes from when you step outside. Unlike hair products, we need to be applying more than a quarter sized dollop over ourselves. We should be applying the equivalent of an entire shot glass. When shopping for sun block, the higher the better. Recently we've found a PFS 60 that's awesome. Reapply after being outside for an hour. Getting in the water? Make sure you have a sport brand or you're out of luck. |
